I love how in Lynn Kurland’s books we get to kn previously novelized characters, seeing as her book follows a family tree. After a series of events and her introduction to Patrick she finds herself transported back in time, where she spends several weeks under awful circumstances.
Not only was Madelyn dumped a few weeks before the wedding, but her ex gets her fired from her posh job and is engaged to someone new raain right away.
Any book with sword fighting, ghosts with a sense of humor, castles, time travel, and fun characters is a good work of fiction to read. My library Help Advanced Book Search. During college, a chance encounter with a large library stack of romances left her hooked, gave her the courage to put pen to paper herself, and finally satisfied that need for a little bit of fantasy with a whole lot of romance! I have not been reading them in order, but I enjoy them tremendously.

MAYBE if I had read previous books in this series I would have had the anticipation of knowing something was going to happen and would have enjoyed reading more because I would have been looking forward kkurland it. This is the first book of Lynn Kurland’s that I have read, and I really enjoyed it. After returning to the mainland, her writing gave way to training in classical music and Clinton, who had been felled with arrows, eaten by fish and sent tumbling off cars, was put aside kurlans operatic heroes in tights.
So knowing that she is going to have to find another, she decides to go on what was suppose to be her honeymoon to get away from it all. Perhaps I’m having a harder time trying to find books that can keep my attention.
She sits there and takes it and takes it and takes it without any kind of self-defense or retaliation. I was flying through it, Oh no! Home Groups Talk Zeitgeist. Bentley was definitely a loser, no question about it.
She crafts an engrossing story here with a gadden sympathetic hero and an entertaining supporting cast. In many ways, Madelyn seemed more retro than most historical heroines.
