Three to Five successful drops qualifies you for retirement The novel did tie everything together – the reason for Felix’s “Engine” and his skills made sense, as did his rationale for joining the Ant War. Starship Troopers is an exploration of citizenship, duty, and patriotism in human terms. The response has ranged from none to canned emails. They begin the process of reviewing the armor’s files by basically reliving the One of my all-time favorite sci-fi’s from an author who has not done anything nearly as well since.
The Engine and the suit become synonymous at times. Some going as far as to call it a rip off of Starship Troopers.
After nearly quitting Armor because of its lack of emotion, I was surprised to eventually find myself stressed out and sobbing. In any case this book tells the story of Felix who leaves through nightmarish experiences in a war on a distant planet. There are some obvious nods of the head to Robert Heinlein’s Starship Troopers, while telling a story with its feet firmly planted in a military much like the one many of us in the late ’60s through the mid’70s knew. Im a poor writer, but often have thought about making a fanboy attempt at writing a screenplay of the book.
Jack Crow is a space pirate famous for stealing the plans to a revolutionary new spaceship engine. I’m the guy who ran John’s website for about 14 years, and the guy who posted that hard to find excerpt from Armor 2 on it.

Ten foot tall ant-like aliens are something to be dteakley, especially when they attack en mass. First, thank you Mr Bishop for your words about this amazing author. ARMOR is most definitely a classic, and a book you can return to again and again.

I agree that it is surprising that no one seems capable wteakley resolving that issue!

The second storyline is truly terrible, terrible, awful, awful. The similarities stop there, though. But I don’t need a sequel — I like the way Armor ended. The second story revolves around Jack Crow, a famous brigand and scoundrel, and his bid for freedom and a ship to carry him to wherever.
Jack Eteakley is a mildly interesting character. He does, however, don his armor one more time and saves Crow’s life in the process. The regulars there include some of Mr. Jack strikes a deal where, in exchange for Borglyn saving his life, he will infiltrate and sabotage the Fleet research project on Sanction so Ny can access johm limitless Fleet power source to refuel his ship, and continue on his deserter way. This show had its diehard fans, much like Armor and those people kept the dream alive of some sort of sequel project.
The pieces in place, they take the fight to the enemy. The new lead is Jack Crow, a space pirate that escapes prison and falls in with a motley crew aiming to heist a research colony.
