Been waiting a long time for this book. Finally got to read it:) It was different from what I thought it.

Then as I was reading, it seemed to just get more and more confusing. View all 7 comments. How can you conclude a story that is all over the place? None of the characters in the book appealed to me. There was so much potential.
A beautiful cover, a poetic blurb, but the book itself does not reach my expectations. We have brsnna sorts of YABC buttons for your website. Admittedly, I was quite skeptical of the romance at first, because I feared it was going straight down stereotype highway.
I had myself all ready to be kept up late at night due to being scared, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The Story of Tempe Wick. Hannah just wants to papef left alone. Needless to say Hannah will become wrapped up in the murders. Total dead end there. What happened to the ghosts haunting Hannah at the end?
Shine of the Silver Dragon: Her style of paprr is so unique. Another admirable connection was the romance. Maybe the best part for me was seeing the relationship between MC Hannah and her deceased best friend Lillian who stayed with her as a ghost. Each week we will be interviewing a different YA author and highlighting their upcoming release!
Finny never got into trouble over the stolen lighter, and I doubt that was his first attempt at shoplifting. I really liked Hannah. I’m not entirely too sure how I feel about the inclusion of Lillian’s ghost and of the various flashbacks and laments about what killed her.
She keeps her head in the game and doesn’t trust people at the drop of a hat. I thought nothing of it, until I was AT my computer working, and it did it again. Who she was, who she is as a ghost, and what their relationship meant. Then I cross to the bed and sink down onto the rug, pulling the sheet with me.
I was also disappointed about the non-mystery regarding the dead birds.
The quiet, subtle romance was exactly what I expected from one of my favorite authors. Eventually, of course, the serial killer catches up with Hannah and Lillian and Finny. View all 19 comments.
Jun 24, Lindsey added it Shelves: Paper Valentine started off extremely slow for me, but once the story took off, I could not put it down! I was really thankful for that. The murders depicted in yovannoff novel could be a little graphic, but somehow I felt the scary factor was subtle.

The MC had a lot of depth, sometimes happy and mostly this yovanof state on the verge of being morbid. Lyrical, yet dark and morbid, it really clicked with me. But Hannah can never go back to normal; she still sees and talks to Lillian, well her ghost anyway. I just wanted so much more from them.
