When companies earn trust over time they are demanding an investment of time and effort in themselves and their products.
Certainly I understand my own “brand” better, but I’ll probably have to re-listen to the book if I’m to apply Sally’s recommendations in real life. This book will tell you how. I not about alarm or vice, but based on Hogshead’s definitions I do see several potential badges for promoting my art: It’s more persuasive than marketing, advertising, or any other form of communication.

It’s good but I feel like she could have done a bit better with a little more explanation on the psychology behind it and less on the selling of it. While I understood the basic psychology of the majority of her triggers; I didn’t fully understand, or sometimes even recognize, their origin. As such, the word “fascination” becomes practically meaningless by the end of the book.
